Hawaiian Honu
The Hawaiian green sea turtle is the only reptile native to the Hawaiian islands and can grow to around 3-4 feet but weigh up to 300-350 pounds or more! The photo below was taken of one of the turtles in Kihei just a few miles from Kihei Kai.

Things To Do
Haleakala is one of the volcanoes in Hawaii that allows visitors to come to the park. On Haleakala you can hike, camp and reserve a spot to watch the sunrise. You may even spot one of the Hawaiian state birds, the Nene.
